Brandon Rigby, '16
Majored in: Romance Languages, Literature
Languages: Spanish

Brandon earned a master of nonprofit management degree at UO before getting his PhD in romance languages, literature, and culture. During this time, he worked as a graduate assistant with Global Education Oregon, assisting Spanish speaking programs with outreach, advising, and pre-departure orientations. Brandon credits his advisor, Cecilia Enjuto Rangel, with encouraging him to take on new challenges like presenting at international conferences and publishing his work. After earning his PhD, he landed a job at the US Consulate in Mexico.

Language: Spanish

Nagore received a PhD in Romance Languages and a Graduate Certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oregon. While completing her graduate studies, she taught Spanish language, culture, and literature courses as well as women’s and gender studies classes. Nagore is now a Lecturer of Spanish at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
